Safety Meetings

The Fort Meade Flying Activity holds quarterly Safety Meetings which are MANDATORY for all members to attend. These meetings are usually held on the second Tuesday in the months of March, June, September, December. The meetings begin at 7:00pm and last for approximately two hours. The purpose of these meetings is to ensure that all FMFA pilots are up to date on all of the current club and airport related safety issues.

The venue for the upcoming safety meetings will be Hanger 80 in space that the club rents from Tipton Airport Authority for club aircraft maintenance

Assigned September 13, 2011 - "Maneuvering: Approach and Landing "

Assigned March 8, 2011 - "Aircrew Quick Reference to the METAR/TAF Codes"

Assigned June 14, 2011 - "Change is in the Air: NOTAM Modernization Moves Ahead"
